Diana Ross has been confirmed for the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival!

We are extremely honored that this special soul singer and icon Diana Ross will come to join our festival.

Diana Ross’s enormously successful career has lead to numerous awards, major prizes and milestones in the international music history during the past four decades. She is one of the most prominent female artists from popular music history. Rightfully so that her international successes were gloriously recognized by the prestigious Kennedy Center Honors in Washington D.C. five years ago. There, her career was put in the limelight honoring her musicality and contribution to film, television, and theater as well as her influence on American culture and her volunteer work.

Diana Ross has been awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award and declared  “Most Successful Female Vocalist of all Time” by the Guinness Book of World Records. In the 1960s, she started as lead singer of the world-renowned group The Supremes. The group achieved an unprecedented total of 12 number one hits in the US, making The Supremes the most successful American group in history to this day. As a solo artist, Diana Ross went on to achieve six number one singles. Her musical repertoire comprises R&B, soul, pop, disco, and jazz. Some of her world hits: Stop! In The Name Of Love, Where Did Our Love Go and You Keep Me Hangin’ On.

In more than forty years she has put dozens of hits to her name and almost forty albums. Diana Ross will draw from this extensive oeuvre for her already legendary performance in Curaçao end of August.
