The 52nd Annual Monterey Jazz Festival took place at the Monterey Fairgrounds, September 18 – 20, 2009 with over 500 artists performing on 9 stages for 3 nights and 2 days of the world’s best jazz, spread throughout the Festival’s 20 acres of magnificent grounds.
Featured performers on the Arena/Jimmy Lyons Stage included: Wynton Marsalis, George Duke, Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Lenny White Trio, John Schofield & Piety Band, Dave Brubeck Quartet, Monterey Jazz Festival All-Stars.
