Vocalist Jeff Robinson returns to the scene with an hypnotic blend of original Jazz and Soul recordings, evoking memories of Marvin Gaye, Al Green and Sam Cooke – all wrapped in a haunting jazz package. He exploded on the Jazz scene in London, playing the famous Jazz Cafe, and was a fixture on London’s Jazz FM [Radio]. In fact, Jeff can be found on several Jazz FM compilations. Jeff’s latest CD, “Eyewitness“, is a deep reaching, moody, but often uplifting testament to the human condition. “Eyewitness” is a soul searching expedition – one which many listeners will identify with. Sometimes bright and hopeful, but also melancholy and subdued, Jeff speaks to his audience, weaving tales of everyday life, love, despair and hope.
