Melanie Fiona New Album The MF Life Coming Soon – RnB and soul singer Melanie Fiona has recently revealed that she has been recording her sophomore album and has now officially announced the title The MF Life.
This sound is going to be definetely still soulful. But what I’m going to call it is stadium soul because I feel like, now that I’ve performed around the world, performed in small venues, large venues, I feel like the soul on this album is the graduation from the soul of the first album. So, it’s not as much retro but it’s got a very live sound with kind of like a Rock and Soul kind of thing. But it’s not Rock and Soul. It’s stadium Soul! I don’t know how to describe it. It’s like if you had an amazing drummer, keyboard player, guitar player and they just rocked out in an empty arena, that’s how this music sounds”.
Melanie Fiona’s debut album The Bridge sold over 250k in the US and spawned an RnB hit single It Kills Me, which topped the chart and was Grammy nominated. The MF Life is due out this fall and with her single Monday Morning becoming a hit across Europe, The MF Life could be released internationally.
